Our Reach and Impact in 2020

Today we are pleased to unveil our annual impact report.

Highlights include:

  • Hosting the 10th Maternal Mental Health FORUM, a 2-day event held in L.A. and webcast across the country, bringing together 650 cross-sector change agents and inspiring change.

  • Releasing the ‘State of the State Report’ which identified gaps that have been closed and have yet to be closed in Maternal Mental Health.

  • Securing federal funding for a Federal Interagency Report to Congress on what agencies like the Office of the Surgeon General, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Office of Women’s Health, and others are doing to address Maternal Mental Health.

  • Launch of the Maternal Mental Health State Policy Fellows program to mentor and support leaders from non-profit organizations in four states to address state policy.

  • Supported 750 2020 Mom Ambassadors, those doing work in their communities to close gaps in maternal mental health.

  • Our Executive Director received the American Public Health Association (APHA) Maternal and Child Health Outstanding Leadership & Advocacy Award for notable contributions to raising awareness and influencing health systems change for maternal mental health.
