2014 Annual Forum

The Collaborative held it’s second annual policy forum in Los Angeles on January 23, 2014.   Nearly 150 people attended the day long event, and 35 people attended the networking reception the evening prior. The forum included a keynote from Dr. Liz Howell, from Mt. Sinai (NYC) who addressed health disparities during the childbearing years, including access to treatment and her MADE IT research. Our panelists who addressed supporting moms of preemies and NICU babies: Kelly Kelley (mom of a micro premie), Dr. Ramos, Dr. Walker, and Dr. Regalado, helped the audience understand coordination of care issues and the significant needs families have for support during this time.
